Official Squatch Watchers

🤫
I think she finally laid down.

Imma try to tippy toe and go clean the bathroom.

I put her in the big dog run so I could mow the rest of the yard. I could hear her clearly above the mower 😳

We are pretty cool today. I have a lot I need to do....and today is a good day to do it weather wise.

The forecast has tomorrow as ok temps too. Such a welcome change!

I need to dig out a section in the duck zone to make a slope, line with plastic, fill with stones, top with a giant paver and hope it keeps their water dish a bit less muddy around it. I think that paver weighs 60#!

Well my bargain pop up pens arrived in the mail and they look pretty much new.
I popped the smallest one fully out semi popped the other 2 and the only thing I saw missing or wrong was a zipper pull is gone.I wont lie gently used had me a little worried.

She just had her OT eval at home. And she has graduated, no more OT required. She still needs PT and Speech. We need to rebuild her core strength (PT), but they had me order her a cane yesterday. She's doing daily exercises to work on that core strength. The Dr expects a full recovery. She's come a very long way on the Speech front, but still needs more work. She misses words or pulls up the wrong word from time to time and still has issues with spelling. Her short term memory has greatly improved, but she's still not quite 100% I'd say about 85% for her.

As for overall mobility, she wanders about the house without a problem using her walker for insurance. She goes to the bathroom by herself and gets dressed by herself. She also showers by herself, but I still keep a close eye on her for safety.
I think any excuse to watch the wife shower would work for most guys, lol. Just kidding, I know you are taking great care of her!

Chicks are growing so fast. I have 4 that I've picked out for roos amongst the australorps. One is the most dominant chick that I have and he is really growing on me. I was not planning on keeping any roos from the set but if he keeps it up I may have to keep him. Lol
But that's a long way from now. Plan is keep 4-6 hens from these and sell the rest off is sets or trios. With the Bielefelders I will keeps the 4 hens and one of the roos at least. I will be building a separate pen for them probably next spring.
