Sorry I keep bouncing out. Had to cook dinner and tend dogs.

While 50 sounds like a lot they are small. The number 50 kills me until I remember that I have 27 chickens and 7 ducks in the middle of town.....then 50 doesn't sound so scary.
Quail ARE pretty darn tasty too.
 
Damn it! Im starting to think the grim reaper is just colonel sanders in a ratty bath robe.:(

Little Whoopsie didn’t make it. She seemed to be doing better. I got her turned over but not walking. She spent the day with me on the couch. Laying on my chest and eating. Then she let out a giant wet smelly poo all over my shirt. That’s when she seemed to turn downhill. I know there was a lot wrong with her. The more time I spent with her and watched the more I saw. She had a great last day of snuggles.

Reason for 30-50 is producing enough eggs for me and may parents and sisters family and still have enough to raise for meat. Lol
3 quail eggs to one chicken egg.
 
Sitting outside in the cool enjoying the night.
Caught bear, coyote, foxes, possums, skunks, dear, and turkeys on the trail cam for the past week. Lots of stuff around the yard and property.
