Official Squatch Watchers

I’m going to go through my birds and pick out the top 10%. The rest I’ll cull or sell.
This is what I have troubles with pullets.... although out of 9 chicks old enough to tell there's 2 pullets :gig

Umbilical hernia chick died overnight. I had one pip but DIS and one egg that is showing no movement. I have 3 healthy looking babies though. I think the 50% hatch rate proves that my decision to stop hatching after my incubator empties was a good one. Besides, I have more than enough mouths to feed. I’m going to go through my birds and pick out the top 10%. The rest I’ll cull or sell.
Sorry you lost the hernia chick. I have had that happen.

Sorry about the chick

I think I had one of these last hatch too.
I didn't see it until a sibling stepped on it and the guts were pulled out in the incubator :sick

Mine feels more gut related but if I feel anything in my chest or it continues until Monday I probably will. I was not running a fever when I came in to work today.

Please get tested. Being a Squatcher means dying is NOT AN OPTION!
