Official Squatch Watchers

Hi everyone! It's been a while, I hope everyone, human and otherwise, is well. I only went back a few pages, congrats on all the new chicks! What have I missed?
Lots happening here. We're all healthy so far. We were supposed to attend our only dance competition this weekend but it was cancelled bc dance isn't a sport, but a social gathering, and therefore not permitted. My younger one joined the team for this year. It's nice being able to afford to let them both compete. A couple weeks ago I spoke w a real estate agent and a mortgage broker and I'm starting to look for a house. My lease is up in Oct so we'll see what happens. The library will reopen on Monday. We had trouble getting plexiglass installed. We got a lot done the past few months. Upgraded all the public computers to windows 10 & replaced bunch of almost 20 year old monitors. Still have no budget, but happy with the things we've done so far. We've had a few staff resign including a branch manager. I know of at least 2 others who are going to leave, but it's not announced & 1 who's thinking about it. We have a hiring freeze until the end of the year so that's fun. The town my gma's family is from finally uploaded civil records from the 1800's to the internet si I've been using most of my free time downloading those. No big breakthrough yet, but it's going to help.
I still have 9 birds. Most are well, Jackie laid a couple lash eggs & is on meds. I found another one that I think came from someone else. I'm trying to avoid shoving a thermometer in everyone's cloaca, but I think that's where it's headed. Oh, and William got a new job! He hates the uniform.

Good to see you back. Lots of things going on in your life. Praying you find a chicken place soon.
That Roo's apron is to funny.

In the chicken reduction act of 2020
LOL, 2020 is the year everyone who ever wanted a chicken got chicks! And it had to be the year I did, too!
Good Morning 'Watchers! I have another person coming to the new AirBNB tomorrow, so have been off the computer and cleaning & fixing little stuff still not done -- varnish a table by the BBQ, weed the yard so vacationers do not see how it always looks. It is funny that people are going on vacation in my yard!
Hi April! That new job seems suited to your boy! He is probably better at it than some of the guys at the store near me.

I know right!! I think I am among the very few reducing numbers. My plan was to reduce down to just 6 chickens and the 7 ducks. I ended up with almost twice that he chickens. No way could I sell my Bitty or Smudge so 11 it is.
Now there are still 2 chicken coops since I cannot trust Rudy around a bantam....and certainly not my Bitty.
After I finish the run separating I need to divide the big coop so I can store chicken gear in there as well as house that group.

I did finish a set of placemats.....not fancy but good enough.
