Official Squatch Watchers

I've cut down a lot honestly. LOL at one point in time I had 13 aquariums going at the same time lol.
Do you have any dream fish that you hope to get in the future?
Good question. Some of those fancy plecos are definitely dream fish, being around $400 a piece. I would really like the zebra pleco. Gourami are gorgeous, but for some reason I can’t keep them alive. They die on me every time . They get constipated, or bloat, and nothing I do helps. I love the rams too, but same thing.

You sound as bad as me. LOL! :celebrate People think I have too many tanks. I don’t know, is that possible? I have that planted 20g with: 2 pepper corydoras, 2 pygmy corydoras, 4 panda loaches, 4 dwarf kubotai rasboras, 3 chili rasboras, 3 pygmy gourami, and dwarf neo’s (shrimp). My 75g has a synodontis, 3 angels, and 2 bichir’s. My hex tank has a gold dust molly (last one left:() and guppies, i don’t bother couNting, lol. Last, but not least, the 55g: 5 corydoras, 4 yoyo’s, 5 neon’s, 2 rummynose, 3 celebes rainbow, 2 otto’s, 2 amano shrimp, and guppies. Phew! I think that’s it.
What color are your shrimp?

I’m sorry to hear about your clown loaches! Those are huge fish! The ones I have left are 1 red rilli and a brown one of some sort, I think it may be a tiger shrimp. I had a LOT of red rilli’s and they just started to disappear. I would see one or two dead ones here and there, but nothing like the numbers that were missing. I think some kind of stowaway was eating them. I had some kind of cone shaped snails and after I closed out the tank I found a very large round snail that must have been hiding in the gravel.

I know right!! I think I am among the very few reducing numbers. My plan was to reduce down to just 6 chickens and the 7 ducks. I ended up with almost twice that he chickens. No way could I sell my Bitty or Smudge so 11 it is.
Now there are still 2 chicken coops since I cannot trust Rudy around a bantam....and certainly not my Bitty.
After I finish the run separating I need to divide the big coop so I can store chicken gear in there as well as house that group.

I did finish a set of placemats.....not fancy but good enough.

The back. The quilting shows up more on this side.
Those are really nice. Looks like you're already preparing for fall.

What is that little red chick?

I bought shrimp, but they all died in a couple of days. Didn't have fish in with them. They were blue.

Thank you. It is definitely a fall fabric but it matches the table and chairs so nice I had to do it first.
They are very simple and basic but nice enough for us.

Aw man, I wish I could sew. We were just at JoAnns and all that seasonal fabric :drool Can’t help but notice you’re in my neck of the woods, sort of. Do you do sewing lessons?

Do you have a TDS meter and RO water? A TDS meter measures total dissolved solids and RO water is reverse osmosis filtered water. Also, you will need a mineral additive for shrimp. Shrimp are very sensitive. Neocardinia’s are more tolerant and good for newbies, but cardinia’s are very sensitive. Also, get a PH meter. I paid around $10 for my meters and they’re good enough. If you want to try again, I recommend making sure they’re neo’s. Everything I mentioned I have in my 20g is safe to be with dwarf shrimp, usually. Nothing is guaranteed. You will find lots of information on fish forums, but honestly, those are a joke, especially compared to this forum. People here are polite and seem to actually know something, and if they don’t they say so. At least that’s been my experience. NEVER buy from a chain store. PLEASE.
