Chicks can do the darnedest things. Sometimes it is a wonder any live at all! That is the only loss from this batch, very fortunate, really. So sorry, I hate when that happens! Hugs.
It can be nasty. That's what killed my clown loaches. They are very sensitive to medications.
I have a lav. She's not pure though, she lays green eggs. I had 2 boys, but they were rehome 2 years ago. They were huge.Yes!
So many I'd like to have. The next standard breed I would like to have are either lavender orpingtons, blue laced red wyandottes, or silver death layers.
Soooooo how many did you order?Yep, I sure did.
Iv'e been extra sad and hubs is on a egg eating kick.
45 bucks is a steal for that much derp!
I have several doing a slow molt. I'm surprised my one white Eggers isn't naked yet. Found one of William's tail feathers tonight.I forgot what I was going to ask, in my defense hubs was going on about sandwich meat and I zoned out.
Anyways, do ya'll have any birds molting?
Lulu and Renee are nearly full tilt naked with big feather sheaths starting to pop out
Hot as it is nude is great but they're so early.
I was contemplating sweaters and putting granny panties on Lulu's shivering caboose last.year.
