Good morning! First thing I had to pull a section of the fence back up it was squished down.
Iv'e had to do that at least a dozen times this spring and summer always the same spot, iv'e started to check it before I do anything else out there.
I'm going to have to replace it the wires have popped due to multiple squashings.
I know one culprit is that goat, deer are probably doing it after dark im tired of it either way.
No idea why they have to kill my fence they could go around. 🤬
Good morning Chicky :frow have a great Monday, sorry about your fence trouble

Good morning everyone. :frow
Have a great day!

Going to be hot hot hot all week here.
Looks like beans and tomatoes need picked again.
The stepson and his wife arrive this evening. Making chimmies and green chili for supper. Other than that it is the panic cleaning thing today.

I was shooing a deer off my lawn, and it would not run towards the electric fence. Now I know what bent it down! Fence = 1 Deer = 0

Good luck I hate any type of cleaning, especially the dentist's kind!

I had pekins in the past, and they were loud. Your silver appleyards were quieter? They are interesting. I have ordered the season-end mixed ducks from Sandhill Preservation for the end of the month or first week in Sept. I am hoping it has some of the silver appleyards included!

My appleyards were a mess when I bought the trio as yearlings. The poor little drake had been badly plucked by her adults. Once they healed up they were very pretty and quiet enough that I found myself checking their pen pretty often to make sure they were ok.
When I moved into town I gave the trio to a nice older (in her 80's) lady that had fallen in love with them. The rest of the flock was sold.
It is nice having ducks again.
