She came back after a few minutes, hovered about six inches in front of my face and had a whole lot to say. I really don't think any of it was good.

Crop surgery?!? What happened? I hope she is doing well.
Today is NUTS!
I picked up 2 cubic yards of screened topsoil to fill in the dog holes, a garden bed and fix up next to that new concrete. I had to hit up 2 stores to get the ingredients for supper. I got some yard work done and am prep cooking for dinner. Lots to chop and pre cook. I am making beef stir fry with peppers and other veggies, chicken chow mein, egg rolls from scratch both shrimp and chicken AND crab cheese won tons. Nope my family isn't picky at alllll.
I have to feed the big malamute still and get River to the vet for her ears soon.
When I am back from that it will be woks and oil and craziness in the kitchen!
Yep as long as things are snug and in proper position you can set her loose.
Swear they tell horror stories to the others first thing so heads up on a ton of quail stares coming your way.
Never fails, help a birdy sister out and touch her vent you're a b-hole bogeyman.![]()
Couldn’t have come soon enough!!!!!!Good morning everyone.
HAPPY FRIDAY!!![]()
Gretel is doing very well now, thank youShe had a stubborn impacted and then slow crop for about a week. We tried mineral oil, crop massages, a wet mash only diet etc and were finally able to get her pooping regularly but her crop still wasn’t emptying over night. We finally got desperate and went to a vet. Gretel is a beloved pet, and only just hit POL. Vet tried a couple things to get the material out of her crop but had no luck. So the only option left was surgery. Vet made a small incision and was able to flush everything out, including a large piece of rubber or latex. Vet thinks it was part of a balloon or glove
She is doing really well now though! Mad as heck about being kept in a crate indoors, but very energetic. And she does love the fancy food she is getting now! She is getting Kaytee baby bird food for a week while she heals. And Sugar’s eye is already looking better so fingers crossed bad things don’t come in threes this time![]()
No idea how you make so many things!
Three is my hard limit makes hubs treat his two side dish choices with thought.
Nipped those last second requests right out.![]()
She got beat up right away by the rooster in the big pen so we put her in the smaller cage with the “extra” roo and his girlfriend. They seem to be fine, but now I worry about their space. I might make a divider for the big pen. Gotta figure that one out though.
My TSC sells them. Do you have one near you?
