I wish I was kidding. No Colorado is not a state that is cooler. We spend June, July, August, and September at 90 and above. We see groups of days with highs over 100° every year. The hottest I have seen was a few days in a row at 105-110. High up in the mountains it is cooler but not that much unless you go REALLY high up.

I remember marching on a drill pad in July and August in Denver, no fun at all but better than Texas.

Yeah.....it's a "dry" heat. Still pretty dang hot though.

So far my birds are all handling the heat and smoke ok.
It does make it difficult to breathe or do much outside.

I am super glad we planted trees years ago. That shade is a blessing. Many of my neighbors yards are dry and brown. I have been able to keep mine growing with just a heavy watering once a week.

Good morning! I think it rained a little bit last night lol.
I left some afhgans on the clothesline overnight and they were wetter than when I strung them up.
Free second wash cycle!




Apparently there is a magical temperature and humidity that solidifies it in the pump.
When some unsuspecting idiot "me smh lol" pumps it pressure builds until a soap missile shoots out with unexpected velocity.
The warning is a little smaller than this.
The soap is tea tree oil heavy and having it in my eyeballs was a new experience....don't reccomend it.
It stabby pains with a secondary burning sensation and it looks like you live in a Vaseline jar for about half an hour.
I cussed myself hoarse, im fine otherwise.

It becomes explosive???? OMG!! Is your eye ok?!?
