Glad to report that the alarms went off, and were not turned off. Grand went to school.

We've gone through this with her older siblings. Oldest grandson would wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, grab his mother's cell phone, put it under his pillow, and go back to sleep. That way no one would hear it when the alarm went off. Middle grand would push the power button, and turn the phone off, killing the alarm. Third grand is simply following in their footsteps.

BTW, she seemed very happy to go to school.

Good morning everyone. :frow

We are much clearer this morning. I hope the wind overnight did not fan the forest fires. The sky is a bit more blue and less brown grey.

While it is EXTREMELY late in the season I am still going to try planting peas. Even if I get zero the plants will feed the soil.
:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day

Good morning everybody!
Looks like it is shaping up to be a soggy day which means there will be a bunch of unhappy little chickens in here.
I guess one day of boredom wont kill them.:)

I live right on the edge of a trendy town everything is a thing of wonder.
ROFLOL, all that commotion over a chicken getting it's butt feathers trimmed. Amazing.

You are quite welcome.:)
Good morning everyone :frow

I bet he avoids the swing now! :lau
Our chickens are right up front, too. That is where the grass is that I want them to eat. I have met neighbors walking by that would never say hi before, but have lots of interest in the chickens. I guess Prescott is trendy, we have a popular tourist attraction called "Whiskey Row". We have had tourists in our Bunkhouse every weekend, and are booked solid for September, too. Who knew that chickens could be a tourist attraction?
