You have NO idea how difficult it is to capture the essence of a fat squirrel eating a cookie. :) View attachment 2362117
I so sorry.. 😔

I was worried there had been a death in the family. That's the only time you ever dissappear for long.

Not a lot of progress but gonna share it anyway....

Originally it was this....

Added nest boxes to the South.

Big vent closed (the small rectangle is a permanent vent) and below big vent open.

It had to drop down. I couldn't get my driver in to run screws upward.

Still need to skirt the very back, paint inside and build a clean out door.

Not much progress?!? It looks great :love

A question.....were you at the other persons place or them at yours a few weeks before these necropsies became necessary? Wondering about possible transmission source.

I am thinking Aspergillosis but I am DEFINITELY not an expert at all.
So I know this quote is from the other thread but aspirgillus was my guess too. Not sure how mine got it. Or the odds of 2 completely different farms getting it at the same time.

It is airborne transmission..... A passing poultry truck that went near both places.....

Don’t think those go by either place. We are actually both in rural neighborhoods. I do know I have at least 7 other houses with chickens around me. 5 min drive in any direction...

The only other thing I can think of would be passing wild birds.
