Got everybody in bed, had to scold the bigs a little they were taking the roost pecking a bit far especially considering how much roost there is.
Ive got two layers one high and one low that go all the way around the coop for 10 hens and Prince.
There is no reason anybody should be pecking, bunch of goobers.:barnie

8x24' coop with four 8' roosts. 4 adult turkeys and 11 poults are the only ones allowed to roost. One roost is empty and if anyone jumps up they get chased off.
Bunch of Goobers for sure

We just moved our blues (bunnies) to the run. I hope they dont get cold. I know they'll be fine but they've been in the garage all summer so now they'll be in the open. I completely overloaded them with hay and put up a tarp to block the wind. The chickens were very interested in their new runmates. Monkey Business, the welsummer, started drinking out of Zeldas water dish! Little stinker. I see that being an issue :(. And the girls getting on top of the cages and pooping. Hmm, better find another board or tarp in the morning! I didn't take pix :( i forgot i had my phone on me and then it was too dark to go back outside.

Good morning peeps 🙂 happy Saturday

Mine seem to be well behaved. Every chicken is roosting (the kids have a tree branch 8" off the floor and a roost 2' up). The ducks go in on their own at night. That still amazes me.

Our ducks were so good about following the leader from one side of the pasture to their house, I loved watching them. The chickens on the other hand 🤷
