Good morning folks.

I just realized I haven't caught you guys up on everything. My brother has moved up here with my parents. He got a job up here doing solar work (that is what he got his degree in). He was having a hard time finding a job in Delaware. He got this job up here because he was in contact with a guy that was going to hire him in the spring but he has a big contract that is just starting now and one of his main guys got injured falling off a roof/ladder (I can't remember which). So my brother was the first on the waiting list. His first day of work was supposed to be today, but it snowed on the site last night and metal roofing and snow do not make for sure footing.

Thing 1 is enamored with Uncle Andrew and follows him all over and constantly wants to play with his Leatherman multitool. :gig He thinks it's the coolest thing ever. My brother has decided to get him a kid's multitool for Christmas. Thing 1 will love that.

DH's sister will be coming over for lunch today, so we'll be having dinner for lunch. Her birthday was last week so she decided it was time to visit. The last few times she was going to come she cancelled because people she's been in contact with were being tested for the virus. They all turned up negative though.

Speaking of the virus, one of my sisters has tested positive. She feels crappy but is managing fine. She says its just a bad cold.

Going on 4 days of the new laundry system and we are all caught up on folding and putting away before DH started a load of his clothes this morning. The main areas of our house are also clean enough that even with DH's sister coming, I only felt the need to sweep the kitchen/dining room, wipe the counters, and pick up a few oddments. It's wonderful! It's odd how dealing the main problem helped us be able to catch up and keep up with the rest of the main area chores.

Wonderful! I’m so glad your brother found a job and that your laundry system works. That is so true. Find the main mess maker and deal with it, then the rest will follow. Unfortunately I cant get hubs to move out so I’m stuck with the mess :lau

My DH actually is bothered by the mess as much as I am. I do most of the cooking (when not pregnant) and he does dishes. He also washes most of the laundry and I fold everything except his laundry. We're a pretty good team.

Good morning everybody :frow
Had ice on windshield and of course no clue where the scrapers are
I think we had about an inch(?) of snow, not ice :)

Good morning Fishy 🙂 have a great Monday and yuck on the ice 😞

Glad things are working out
And that your brother has a job. Is he good at babysitting :lau

What age do you process the Cornish and about what do they weight? I have some mixes that are 16 weeks tommorow, but they look like they need a couple weeks... but the weather is saying otherwise

Time change messing with the dogs here. While she would STILL be early in her "watching" she is extra early today. Delilah sits and watches for my son to get home every day. He SHOULD be home at 3 if he gets off work on time. It would only be 2 without the time change.....yeah she has a wait ahead of her today.

The tree is actually getting gone slowly.....very slowly.
The tree guy is well into his 60's and two neighbor men also in the pepaw years are on the lumberjack team.
Tree guy has three latino fellas and one weirdo, nosy white dude thanks to me accidentally locking hubs outside..heh.🔑🤫
