Good news on the adoption front.....
They have completed all the classes and requirements in order to adopt. Next steps are home visits and then pairing with a kiddo.
Currently they are hoping to be paired up with a 5 year old girl they have seen pics of and read the background for.

She is feeling much better as of yesterday afternoon. She is able to be up moving around now without coughing fits.
We are extremely relieved that she seems to be on the mend.

Really? They’re going the older route? AWESOME! Most people only want infants.
So glad to hear she seems to be improving.

I’m guessing I need to up the protein in my feed again. Apparently 18% isn’t enough to prevent all hard molts.

They are choosing to go with an older child for a lot of reasons really. While I am sure they would love to adopt an infant the older kiddos need and deserve a loving home too.
They will be awesome parents.
