Oh I know, Hobo sounds terrifying and i'd imagine it improves with age.
Bitty has to be crazy to hear.
And yes I flopped a piece of candy around and stopped key eating in about a quarter second of the first flop.
I watched them try to kill and try to eat my key for waaay too long.
Best chicken whistle for the littles, it was nearly instant lol.

Totally! A 6" tall ball of fury that can growl loud enough to draw my attention over barking dogs and the quack pack.

By the way.....I am guessing you managed to get your keys back. Chasing Derps sounds similar to herding cats.

Good evening im tired, I dropped my key and Jerry took off with it which resulted in about a half hour game of keep away between me and the littles.
I locked my phone in the coop so I was trying to get back inside.
Tomorrow should be a better day, iv'e got about 12lbs of gummi bears coming, regular, sour, sherbet and chocolate covered plus a case of nerds.


Nunny I know what those symptoms sound like but nearly anything can mimic the "m" word.
Anyways I feel for you and your birds going through all that.

I need to put in my candy order too, but I only order Japanese KitKats so I worry they’ll melt. Snow and freezing temps to start this week and nearly 70° to end this week.

I might soak some of those bears in whiskey,really might.

I got my BYC calendar today. Really nice photos of pretty chickens in there! I like the little blurb about the birds too.

Bitty is irreplaceable. She is definitely one in a million. You he volume she can growl at is impressive.

Those pullets are growing up on me. Roosting well now and getting really big. Little Georgia is brave! She tries to follow me out of the coop. Tiny Tina has grown some nice wheat colored feathers around the neck. I was hoping for deep red like Rudy has but those golden locks are rather fetching matching her fierce eyes.

I will TRY and get pics to share.

I locked down an incubator tonight that's full of polish eggs! Can hardly wait for them to hatch!

I do sort of have a diy lanyard, it is a ponytail elastic so I can keep the key around my wrist.
I was just in a hurry last night and you see what that got me.
The kit kat flavors I ordered although released for the U.S market are totally on par with the Japanese versions and they'll be full sized bars.
Im a candy snob, did a full taste test beforehand.
The whiskey bears would be for mama chicken "me", who could use a few boozy bears.

Good morning! 37 but feels like 32 out there, it is the kind of cold that hurts your hands and makes your nose run im not a fan at all.


These are roosting pretty good, I still have to get Homer and Spunky up and I have to get Homer down she won't jump.
I guess i'll have to make her some steps, I don't think her vision is the best and I know she's a little slow on the uptick and it isn't looking like either is going to improve with age.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I am running late. Birds are mad. Dogs are madder.
Breakfast for them is still almost an hour out. Yes I am having to cook for the dogs. I need a raise.

My sons dogs due to ANOTHER round of the trots are on a bland diet. He did not prep anything last night so granny is making chicken and rice.....again.

Tip: buy stock in rice.
