Official Squatch Watchers

He is adjusting well, it's taking me longer to adjust to his quirks :he

Only one accident in the house the 2nd night.
He destroyed a couple dog beds, so he gets a throw. Steals food off the counter. He drops it as soon as I see him, so he knows better. At least I don't have to fight him for it.

However he is rather useless. Doesn't bark at delivery trucks, but will bark at noise he can't see what it is so that's good.
Old and arthritis so just walking down to the creek and back is about all he can manage. But he is getting better, at first he was done just getting halfway.
Just looks at the poultry , not excited about them.
He is a sweetheart though
I wonder if collagen supplements would help him. Or even some good homemade bone broth without salt.

Good morning Mo 🙂 have a great Tuesday !

Good morning everybody :frow
No snow day :hit
Plenty of snow though

Good morning Fishy 🙂 have a great Tuesday ! Sorry about no snow day 😞 we only got a small dusting, just enough to make things slippery.

I have switched his food to large dog and give him glucosamine chondroitin and an aspirin. Seems to be helping.

I am glad the changes are helping the old guy. Sometimes the useful part is just being a companion. :hugs

Noah also likes eggshells. I have a bucket on the kitchen floor for crushed egg shells and veggie scraps for the chickens. Stuff all over the floor and egg shells in his poop. He gets an egg with the aspirin dissolved in it in the morning, kibble is available also. Guess he wants the whole egg . Max ate the eggshells once. I was hoping Noah would get over it too, but I guess I have to find a new place for the bucket.

He knows sit, but heel he doesn't have a clue. The owner had cancer and lived in town. He was put on a line strung between house and garage. I don't think he was walked on a leash much.

Oh 2020 December! What a wonderful way to end the year. Catastrophic failure of chicken run!

I'm crocheting and staying in the house.

I luckily have power and no one was injured.
Currently 59,618 without power and no estimated time for it to return.
