Well the weatherman didn't lie it is 18 degrees im not even thinking of going out until 8.

The glitter effect is very pretty.
A few times a year we get cold enough to have the moisture in the air freeze and kind of hover. It looks like diamond dust floating everywhere. So far this year we have been unusually warm.

18 feels like 10 here... Got something new (I've never seen before) about 1/8th inch of crystal clear ice crystals. Looks a bit like glitter in the moon light.

Good morning Henny, have a great day... I'm now wondering if it was early stages of frost. As the sun is rising it's turning white and now looks a lot like frost.

I may be a weirdo but I like stepping out when things are all sparkling in a heavy frost to marvel at how pretty it is with trees all shiny.

I don't think that's weird at all, unless I'm a weirdo too It was on the grass, the roof, the deck and in the trees and just sparkled when hit by light.

I just love it when it sparkles or just turns everything super quiet somehow. It’s just gorgeous

Sadie loves the snow too, but yesterday it kept hitting her belly while she was trying to find a place to go
It’s 14° this morning. Was 17° yesterday and warmed up to a balmy 23° The water just freezes so fast in these temps! Three trips to try to water everybody yesterday The chickens got their water bowl moved indoors as they dont want to come out. Poor little Monkey was just standing on one leg shivering I went and got them a ton more hay and put it under Spyro’s cage with scratch in it. That made her happy
