I've been around, but lurking instead of interacting. Getting more tired all the time, taking naps whenever I can. I'll be 36 weeks on Monday. I'm SOO done, but I probably have close to 6 weeks left.

Lol those young ones can be a pain. I was moving mulch one evening a decade ago and one kept following me. I was filling the wheelbarrow and it came up and started digging with me. I left with what I had and dumped it in the bed. Before I had it spread out it came running up and started digging. I went back to filling and the little bugger came running down to dig. This happened a half a dozen times before I gave up. He sure ate a lot of grubs for me. He should have been popping full.

LOL He was probably following you b/c he thought you were digging up the dirt so he could eat! My chickens do that. If I move something, or dig a hole everyone swarms b/c I MUST be doing it for them.

The one in Ohio said early spring. based on our forecast, he a liar.

Well iv'e seen at least three today and all of them very energetic so that absolutely makes sense.
Thankfully no coyotes, don't really care to see those no matter what they're doing.
Tonight I almost had all the derps on the big side of the coop but Apryl changed her mind so she's sleeping alone in the small side.
Jerry is in there squished in the middle of a lady sandwich.

Exactly what I would do! Sleeping by others is over-rated.

Nope, he said he sees a handful of cases a year because people travel.
I was his first hermit case, same dr treated for rocky mountain spotted fever at 15.
Sob calls me lucky as a joke.

Oh wow. So do they know how you got it? Were you licking the boxes that came in the mail?

Our weather is pretty trash here too...

Those -'s have me worried. Last time it got that cold someone lost a couple of toes. Just being in the coop w/ the door shut it feels a lot warmer than outside so I'm hoping everyone will be ok. I know chickens do their chicken thing when it's cold, but I still worry. There's only 9 and they don't huddle well..
We have our first competition on the 19th... the local weather people mentioned a snow storm that day. It better be Sunday night...
Saw the ortho yesterday for the younger one. We could hear them out in the hall talking about how he'd just seen her for the right knee, but this says left and being confused about what was going on. I guess this isn't normal, go figure. He said surgery could help if she keeps dislocating, even if she does have eds like her sister. That made me really happy to hear. She starts PT on Monday. He gave us a choice b/t pt and doing exercises at home... we chose PT b/c she has a ballet in a month & competition in 7 weeks. I just spent $400 on costumes for 2 kids so I better be seeing some feet on a stage or I'm going to be coming to work in a pink and purple flowy leotard.
