So far
God kept me from damage. Because I am Not sure how I kept my balance on the first foot or trying with the fall, without twisting my bad back. I have a lot of padding on my butt :gig

Good morning Parront 😊 we had rain overnight that cleared most of the snow. We have most of the bamboo pop back up, but some will need to be cut down. We have no shortage of bamboo so that's not a problem.

Light snow last night followed by a little rain. Of course I found an ice patch I didn't see, on the basement ramp. First foot I kept my balance. Next foot almost kept balance but did a slow motion fall on my butt.
Blessed that I have no injury. Almost above freezing so salt took care of it quickly. Highs supposed to be above freezing all week and a slow melt.

Good morning Mo 😊 I'm so glad your not hurt 🤗🤗, falling and landing on you butt is no fun. I have done it before and I also have extra padding 😂😂. Please be careful and take care of yourself.

Good that you are OK! Ice is worse than snow! We had to put up some temp handrails -- us old farts can not afford to fall and break some vital bones! My husband has broken his wrist falling while playing soccer when younger, not good!

Yeah I used to just surf down the ramp when icy... started salting it when I turned 60. So far I haven't broken any bones except a big toe in grade school

The worst time is when things are melting during the day, then re-freezing at night. Somehow yesterday's salt gets washed away! We only have patches left in the shade, and sloped driveway concrete ice rink is finally dry. Arizona is so dry, I swear sometimes the snow has just evaporated in the sun!

That's what happened. I salted yesterday and a bit of snow then rain fell overnight.

actually snow does evaporate, has another name.... like ice cubes in refrigerator
 
While we were incredibly warm today (near 60°) I got a picture of one of my weirdos.

This is Robin. She is a Prairie Bluebell and rather interesting in her coloration I think.
