Well, now MIL isn’t going. She’s had a busted up/cracked tooth for over a year and she’s refused to do anything about it. Her face is now swollen and it is hurting her a lot.

What a nice relaxing day iv'e had, the good thing about an old dog keeping you up all night is they're as tired as you are the next day lol.
It has just been a nap a thon here today that honestly has been super nice.
No idea what all the sirens were about, im on the same road as the fire department so holidays are usually a little noisier but not like that.
I should have checked the scanner but I wasn't in the mood for ambulance chasing so I cracked a Foster's and sat up with the howler.
Tommow is coop cleaning and washing slobber off my window.

Oh wow, the sirens were really bad.
A motorcycle got hit in a blind curve just down the road.
The car was a fiat so neither driver survived.
The car caught fire and burned so hot it melted the road.
I knew it was bad, people drive like maniacs on this road it has claimed a lot of lives.
You could not pay me to be on any sort of cycle, they don't get the respect to share this road even remotely safely.

It is like motorcycles and bicycles are invisible.
But this road is freaky you can't keep a tree anywhere near the thing it is like they're magnetic or something.
Not just accidents either a purposeful swerver or two.

Not just accidents either a purposeful swerver or two.

It is very unnerving when there is a deliberate swerve toward the bike. It happens here far to often.

If we are wanting to go for a longer ride we gather 4+ other bikes to go with. It's harder to NOT see us when we are in a bigger group.

Given how many people seem to have forgotten how to drive during all the sofa sitting I am not sure how much I will ride this summer.
