Yes, we had a drain installed in the yard, but a fence put up later had blocked it and we did not think of it until the water was rising! The first time, it did not get as high! We are lucky we were on top of it or it could have been a lot worse. The place got a complete "deep clean" yesterday and today, including washing down the places where water intruded with diluted bleach today. I am wiped out. We had to get flood insurance when we bought, due to the creek. This came from the other side of the house, water wanting to go into the creek! We needed the rain, but not all in one hour.

I just might need...several. The big concrete job is scheduled for mid August so I need to prep a new flower garden and dig all my plants out of a 15x15 existing bed.
Hard clay means I won't be having any fun there.
