Good morning everyone.

Redhead Rae, thank you for sharing pics of your family. I also want to compliment you for your creativity, and protecting their identities as well. It has always bothered me that far too many put full face shots of their children/grandchildren on social media, and often include their names with the pics, sometimes even their ages. There are far too many unsavory characters in the world today, for people to be sharing so much regarding children. You do a great job of both sharing interesting pics, all the while safeguarding their identity.

My husband is one of those rare men that actually remembers all the important dates, like birthdays, and anniversaries. He's memorized them all. He puts me to shame, because I have few of them memorized, and have to look at my calendar.

A couple nights ago, he announced that we were all going out to eat. Everyone got ready, and off we went. While we were sitting at the table, he told everyone it was my birthday dinner. I said "no it's not".

Yesterday, I got a birthday card with a nice check in it, from his mother. I pondered that it was early, but didn't say anything.

Last night, at midnight, my husband gathered everyone around, and told them to wish me a Happy Birthday, since it was my birthday. I looked at him, and said "no it's not".
He looked at me like I had lost my mind. "Yes, it's past midnight, so it's your birthday", he said. "No, it's not", I replied. Determined to prove me wrong (seriously?) he checked the calendar on his computer.

"Oh crap. I wasted all that money taking us out for your birthday dinner, and I have to spend more money, and do it all over again next month", he said. "Yes you do", I replied.

At least that's what I thought when I sent my mother fruit a month early lol

Thanks! I know some people (my mom especially) who are upset I don’t or I insist they don’t share full face photos of my kids. I use my kids first names on FB but I have my FB profile locked down pretty well and only befriend people I know or have a good online relationship with a couple people on here included (one I met in person and another I have a shared interest in sustainable meat birds). I use 23snaps for sharing full face photos with people I know personally over a secure app and/or email.

I’ve relented on full face photos on Facebook if they are included in a group shot (8 or more people) and not tagged.
