Good morning
Hot and humid.
Tornadoes North, west and south of me last night. Possible repeat next few days.
Yellow jacket got me in the fore arm this morning, not sure what his problem was. I was on the sidewalk taking water and feed to the flock. Hopefully they stay away.

Already had to go on a chicken rescue, Puddin jumped the fence.
Neighbor bless her heart tried to get her but those birds aren't having any stranger danger.
I got her back in safe and sound lol.
Learned that set of neighbors now has a jackass which I thought I had been hearing but didn't really look into as I might have just been tripping.
Also learned guy who had the goats that destroyed my fence repeatedly sold the goats and his huge crazy dogs.
I'm not too upset about that since they were a disaster waiting to happen.

That was just a ton of huge animals to possibly have running loose on any given day.

I might try to grow some kiwi fruit.
I'm seriously looking into it but it has quirks I honestly didn't know about like having having both sexes of plant.
Also didn't know it is a vine and I won't see fruit for at least five years.
Honestly you don't see much fruit from any vine until it is that old.
Mind is still blown kiwis grow on vines

Yup weird vining plant that takes forever to produce. I wonder what the blooms look like.....

There will also be a lot to learn about pruning and getting the plant ready to grow fruit. I had so many big plans for this place they are all on hold.

Well they are staining today.

Their solution to "the picky lady next door" was to get the thinnest roll of painters plastic they could find and lay it over my plants.....where the slightest breeze sent it sailing away.

I grabbed my pinch clips and secured it in place.

I am ok with being that picky lady......yup I don't care what they do on their side of the fence as long as it stays on their side.

Nope. My side does not need it for one and I will tend my side myself.....not with spray but the good ole rag staining method so nothing affects the neighbors and nothing is airborne.

Besides, I am disinclined to pay for something I can do myself.
