Good morning!
Got everybody fed, or at least I tried.
It is one of those weird mornings, the older kids were ready to get going but the youngsters are still just sitting in the coop.
Door is open, food is out so I've done my part lol!
Oh and there is a deer out there eating alfalfa that sprouts up volunteer where I dump the hay.
Pretty, fat deer looks very healthy.

I think it's safe to take down all my tarps and plastic today.

Then continue with my shop organization. A quick (hopefully) trip for Bitty's all flock feed and shavings then if time allows I want to make this for the front yard. I have a couple pieces of pink glass I want to use for the sides.

Just checked the traps and I had a little girl opossum in the box trap. Wish there was someone that wanted them. She was cute. but I have had them kill chicken, usually just eat eggs.

No wildlife rehab in your area? It is always a distasteful task.

Ha the wildlife rehabilitator by me is near the creek that runs through my pasture. She lets them loose on her property and they come visit me. l stopped by there years ago and asked if she could release somewhere else, of course she didn't have anywhere else that was legal... she was putting breakaway collars on them with her address..... So I started dropping off them, middle of the night lol after I dispatched during trapping/hunting season. Not sure if she is still doing rehab, none of these have collars.

Good Morning! I wish I could schedule crazy, here it just happens when it happens. 2 inches of surprise thunderstorm yesterday, we were out clearing the drains. Flash flooding had a swift water rescue over by our Home Depot, and another one right downtown. We do not go out when this weather is forecast, but yesterday's mayhem was not. Hubby was at the local store, barely made it back before the water started backing up!
