Official Squatch Watchers

My neighbors that live in the big fancy house are getting a roof today.
I do not envy those poor roofers working on that behemoth.
They were already working at 7:20 this morning and are still working.
I bet it will take them three days easy.
I only see four workers and my neighbor's hubby who is supervising grouchy old coot style from the ground.
I can tell he's not thrilled so I'm guessing this was an unplanned roof.

The crew is done for now. They will be back to, pressure wash the existing pad and street, make the cuts and seal the concrete.

The strip toward the grass.....What say you? Flower bed or flagstone?

Good morning folks :frow

:frow Good morning Chicky, have a great day

:frow Good morning Clue, have a great day

:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day

Rae, they're growing like weeds...
Came here specifically to see if you all were OK after the TN flooding. Glad to see you're here.

It's going to take some getting used to. We have been here almost 20 years so this is a HUGE change.

Now to decide if I want grass between the flagstone or fragrant thyme or fine gravel. I think grass would be the easiest.
I would do gravel between the stones. No weeding or weed eating. They even make recycled glass gravel that's pretty. Like grouting tile.

I like the idea of flagstone down the driveway as a sidewalk. Then if you want extra patio room a little area in front of the house. Then flowers (the purple) to separate the patio from the lawn.

I like the idea. But I'd never get around to it.
Y'all want to see some sh*t?💩
Click the poop.
I'm clearly in the wrong business.

For TV try the discovery+ I've been watching a ton of stuff on there. It includes all sorts of shows.

I worry it will look odd since the new driveway hits almost 3' into the porch. To me it effectively acts and looks like a sidewalk. The line they cut runs from the corner of the porch to the sidewalk. I didn't get a pic of that yet.
I think we will go with flagstone to the right of the porch and several very large pieces to the right of the drive with low growing ground cover that blooms. Oh and the right corner of the porch that arch will get flagstone too.

I dug up my pigmy barberry and really need to get them back in real ground. One is struggling in the pot. It may have thorns but I adore the leaves.

Good morning! :)
I'm up early again but I'm at least watching documentaries so I'm not rotting what's left of my brain.
I'm watching about the most radioactive man ever recorded.
That poor guy had an awful time and to add to it his last name was Ouichi.
Oh, unrelated but those roofers laughed at me.
I was walking around snuggling Jerry but yeah laughed...at...me!
The nerve of some people. :lau

Hemp farming does look crazy tempting when something like that exists!
I'll look into discovery+ I like a lot of stuff the normal discovery channel has.
