Official Squatch Watchers

Could you crate them? Aren't they going to trash the house?

They have never been crated so that would be a challenge.
My house is tiny too so there really isn't space for 5 gigantic crates. I think they will be ok. Only Aluah has ever been destructive and SHE does have a crate. She doesn't understand that grrr means no from the others and triggers fights being pushy.

It will be ok.

I'm not sure what exactly has happened to our county's virtual schooling this year, but it's a huge step down from last year. As to the difference between online schooling and virtual schooling here, online schooling was done, for the most part, without benefit of an actual teacher, or classroom. Virtual schooling, on the other hand, has a teacher, and classroom environment. When the kids log in, they can see their teacher, and classmates. They can interact through their microphones, and cameras. There is software, so when they push a key, it's the equivalent of them raising their hand. The teacher can call on the students by name, asking a question, and expecting an audible answer.

The software has changed this year, and it's not as good as last year. It's still very buggy too. School started 3 weeks ago, and they're still trying to get kids registered into the system. They've claimed they were overwhelmed, both in real life at the schools, and for virtual schooling. That's not overly surprising. Florida is the second highest state, that people moved to, this past summer. The sheer numbers of people flocking into our state has been huge. It's not surprising that housing, schools, roads, libraries, post offices, stores, etc. have been overwhelmed with the influx.

Being a tourist state, we are accustomed to plenty of tourists coming throughout the summer, then leaving when school starts. This past year, it's been like all the tourists, their families, their friends, and their friends' families poured into the state, but didn't leave when school started.

Hi everybody :frow

What an interesting start of the school year :th I’ll just leave it at that.

It’s been NUTS here! I can only imagine what your schools are going through, but would rather not for my sanity’s sake. Whats left of it.

Good morning!
Just got in from tending to the herd.
I got the weed trimming done out there yesterday and it just looks so weird without the weeds.
I did leave the poke salad since birds are eating the crap out of the berries.
I keep kidding hubs telling him I'm going to cook it but I'm not even though I totally could.
He's never eaten it, his family is scared of it and rightly so if nobody knows how to prepare it.
I'm actually really good at it, I've got zero cases of people I've traumatized with poke salad. :p

:frow Good morning Chicky, have a great day... I love polk salad :drool but I'm terrified of trying to prepare it myself. Not even sure I would recognize it in the yard.

Good morning Chicky 😊
Good morning everyone. I'll tend my flock later, when the kids take a break from their school work. We got a better handle on things, so hopefully it will be smooth(er) sailing today with their virtual schooling.
Good morning Clue 😊
