A Jeep just stopped in the road guy got out and hollered something I can't type then got back in the Jeep and sped off like a moron.

Years ago I said hi to a woman walking by work. She went off on me. The guy I was working with asked what I said to crazy Kate. Turns out she had been a lawyer and when her son was killed in Vietnam she lost it.

Well I saw a hummingbird hawk moth, never saw one like this one it was huge and brownish.
I see the little bee colored ones often but this guy was actual hummingbird size.
Picture is blurry guy was fast but I found a stock one of him.
Cool bug, seems to anger the actual hummers though they didn't care for it.

Those are so freaking cool!!!

I have only ever seen one and it was getting dark out. I went to take a sprinkler out of a flowerbed and wasn't sure what it was at first. Super neat little guys!

Yep that one was out there about sunset.
The smaller yellow and black ones and occasionally smaller green ones come out during the day.
Those don't look as 'birdy' as the big ones though.
That one had me fooled lol!
Glad all those Cleomes come up volunteer stuff seems to really like them.

Nunny identified them for me long ago.
I thought I just had cool looking weeds.
