Hi everybody

Im making progress with the stairs, finally! Still boxing things up in the living room to work on that carpet. I truly do not understand the pee stains. Its been peed on for years and ive cleaned them each time and never saw anything further. Now that nothing new has been added for several months the spots showed up as if they were fresh, or simply just never cleaned in the first place. I shampooed it again and it only lasted a couple of weeks I am completely stumped. Ive been wanting to replace it since we moved in anyway, but .....
i’ve put so much putty on the stairs to cover the nail holes and knots that it looks like they have the pox
