Hi everybody :frow
Thanks Fishy. He looks Otis like to me too. Hubs prefers the name Gunner so Gunner it will be.

I am a believer in fences for dogs. At least while in training they really benefit from a containment fence. My dogs definitely need that fencing to keep them on the property and also off my gardens and birds.
I have only had 1 dog that grew out of the need for a fence. Even she needed one while young and learning the boundaries.
I would love to have a fence, i just cant afford one anytime soon.
Our butcher really liked her... So he would save the shin bone from the steers he butchered for her... Fast forward years after she passed a tree fell in our yard and under the root ball was a pile of her bones. The look of peoples faces when they saw her strutting around with that big bone was hilarious. Another good thing about her was she wouldn't eat anything provided by someone else without our approval. The burgarlers poisoned all of the dogs on our block with poison hot dogs. We came home and she was staring at hers. We threw it away and gave her a better treat. If you can't tell, she was my best friend growing up.
What disgusting people 😡. Dogs like that dont come around too often 🥰
Weird. I thought I posted this yesterday.

That number of raccoons blows my mind Mo.

Yes that's what happens when you get tenderhearted and don't keep numbers in check for decades... and goofy neighbors feed them.

I sure hope the missing are okay.

Hi folks,

It’s been a crazy few days here. Very early Thursday morning, Thing one threw up in his bed. It was a mess because he is in the top bunk so both beds needed to be cleaned up. I didn’t sleep well after that. Thing 1 puked again at my mom’s house that afternoon. I didn’t sleep well Thursday into Friday either because I was starting to feel sick and had a hard time getting back to sleep after the Milk Drinker woke for feedings. Friday into Saturday was insane. I volunteered to handle an emergency weekend build and started working at 3am. I got a nap in the afternoon but I was feeling pretty horrible all day. I think it was a combo of the lack of sleep and the stomach bug/cold that we have going around. So we were looking forward to getting a good nights sleep last night. NOPE. Thing 2 puked all over his bed a little before 1am. He puked every hour or two the rest of the night. Fortunately he was puking on the floor, not his bed. Thank goodness we elected to have linoleum throughout the house. At 5 am he decided he was up, so I had DH put a movie on for him (our living room is right outside the bedroom) so we could sleep more. I wake up at 6:20 to try to switch the movies and I find more puke on the floor right outside the bedroom door. I got that cleaned up, another movie on and I got back to bed at 7 only for the Milk Drinker to wake up. I hand him off to DH who let me sleep until 10. Then I let DH take a nap too. Poor Thing 2 puked every 2-3 hours for the rest of the day. He’s now asleep and I hope he doesn’t have another night like last night. We have him on a camp bed in his room and it is covered in towels. I have more towels and cleaning cloths set up in the room to make bedding changes as needed. Hopefully we don’t have a repeat of last night but we are prepared if we do. DH is already in bed and I’m just waiting for the Milk Drinker to get to sleep before heading to bed myself. I really hope the Milk drinker doesn’t catch it but he thinks he should be allowed to play with Thing 2’s puke pail and kept grabbing it.

In other news, tomorrow I start working 40hrs a week again. I’ve been working 35 hours a week since Thing 2 was about 6 months. I haven’t worked 40 hours since I went on maternity leave with Thing 1.
