Dh surprised me yesterday. To go with my Venus Flytrap, in the Mario Warp Pipe, look what he ordered for me. It's so dang cute!

Good morning everyone.

Some people eat corn flakes for breakfast. For our breakfast we went to the garden, picked some corn, I cleaned, and cooked it, and we ate it with a little butter.

Good morning!
Another day another episode of romper room around here lol!
Chicks were loud all night, they aren't cold or hungry they're spoiled.
I finally just gave up and made a towel nest in the bed, woke up with chicks in every roll on my body and someone trying to eat my eyebrows.
I've probably started something I shouldn't have but it won't be the first time and likely not the last.
At least I'm good at it.

New mattress came. It wore us out getting the old one out, so the new one will have to wait until we recoup. Today is a "music" kind of day. I loaded my playlist, and am cranking out tunes. It seems to be putting some pep into everybody's step.

Dd #1 pitched in a helping hand. Mattress is now on the bed, and puffing up. Just WOW! We got a Titan, by Brooks Bedding.

The last mattress we got, over 12 years ago, was a good quality, expensive mattress. With Dh's height, and weight even with a good mattress, after all this time his side had sunken down so bad, it looked more like a bathtub over there. Of course, sleeping next to him, I was doing the hill-climb all night, to escape the crater, and get back up on my side of the bed. Not exactly conducive of a good night's sleep.

I had been reading where two companies make mattresses for heavy weights. That's how I selected the one I did. It is designed to accommodate a sustained 500 lbs. on each side. With the topper, it's not like sleeping on a plank.

Lordy, I'm going to have issues.
Took the babies out and Jerry and his bunch tried for two solid hours to get into the pen.
Sounds bad but in reality they just want the carrier.
You haven't lived until you've shucked a full grown rooster out of a little carrier.
Talk about fat man in a little coat.

Reminds me of my rabbit. We took them to a show in March and when we tried to take him out of the carrier he hung onto it and lifted it off the ground . I was laughing too hard to help or to take a picture.

@Chickassan Glad you are doing better. That nurse sounds horrible. The fact that they don't double check drug tests baffles me. Or find out if you've taken something that might cause a false positive. Have you seen a specialist for seizures? There are rx drugs for them but a lot of people have turned to cannabis. Better results with way less side effects.

Free rescue chicks from the post office! Did they call you asking if you'd take them? Sad that whoever ordered them just abandoned them.
I'm not great with chick identification but brahma would have feathered feet. Something like an orpington doesn't. Leg color and number and toes all play a factor. If the box had a hatchery name you could look at their site. See what breeds they sell and narrow it down.

Propolis for the teeth! Liquid can be good to flush into cracks but packing around it with solid or even powdered can really help. The Egyptians used to fill cavities with it.

My allergies do best with a nasal spray. Nasacort (the generic) is my usual spray. I can’t stand Flonase. Gives me a headache.

Have you tried Flonase Sensimist? It works. I also cant take nasal spray, but can do the sensimist really well. I just keep forgetting it

Ok, i think my anxiety has calmed down some. He laid off the dog thing for a bit and calmly asked about looking today. Kiddo finally picked a chair fir his living room. A gray rocker recliner. We’re looking for a mattress and its nerve wracking. I really hate big purchases but they say they have a generous return policy. I’ll take a look at Brooks Bedding @getaclue Thanks for the lead! Ive heard of them but never checked them out. We also need a couch sooner rather than later and apparently there are more trucking issues? People are expecting more price hikes because of it.
