I really thought about redoing a previous couch but chickened out. I wish I had done it. So, I say go for it Clue
I like leather, but we also have central heating and cooling and lots of blankets. The new one is leather-like. Im sure its not actual leather for that price.

The duck (Quacker Sparkles) is in the dog house. She knows NOT to be on the patio table. She got up there today. By the time I found out, and got out there, she had been on a bit of a rampage. The first thing I noticed was that she'd been in the ashtray. Nope, she won't eat the butts, but she will pick them up, and spit them out all over the place. Not a big deal. THEN I saw what she did to my Venus Flytrap. That upset me. I grabbed her gently, set her down, and scolded her. No, I did not turn her into Duck Fricassee.

I'm not happy with her, and she knows it. She spent the rest of the day trying to make up to me. At the worst, it won't make it, and I'll get another one, and start over (with a new plant, not a new duck LOL).

Good morning!
I swear I have no idea what is wrong with me this morning.
First I swallowed Listerine instead of spitting it out, then I tried to light up my stylus instead of a cig and to top it off the garden hose scared the crap out of me.
Last one is the worse one, that sucker is bright blue and for some cockamamie reason my brain thought snake.
Ok, firstly I'm not afraid of snakes and secondly.....Smurf snake.

Venus flytraps are like gold around here,if I can keep it alive it gets guarded like fort Knox.
Ashtrays have been on lockdown since Hobo the Dominique joined the family, she's a smoke bandit got no problem stealing a lit one right out of a mouth.
I finally got tired of scolding her, only so many times you can tell a hen she's going to burn the house down before you start to feel a tad nutty.
Not like she was listening anyway.

What firmness is it? I'm looking for a good firm bed. I have a select air, pre sleep number model, and over the last 20 years I have been needing firmer for my back.

Sunny and hot again but not as humid.
Was supposed to storm last night but just got a trace of rain. So I started watering the garden.

Something messing with the DP traps. I've been putting empty cat food can or a plug cap made for DP traps. 3 sets of 2 traps and 2 sets were cleaned out.

By the way, each side will support a sustained weight of 500 lbs. Dh weighs around 300 lbs. This will last for years, without getting the sag in the middle, and edge sunken where he sits to get out of bed, on his side of the mattress. A normal middle of the line mattress will go about 2 years, then his side looks like a bathtub the sag is so bad. When it gets to that point, the mattress is no longer comfortable for him, and I am constantly trying to climb out of the trench all night. Not conducive of a good night's sleep. Replacing a cheaper mattress every few years, ends up costing as much as buying a better one to begin with, and no intervals of uncomfortable mattress.

IF weight is not an issue, you and spouse are both reasonably slim, here's the link to Brooklyn Bedding. They have many to choose from. Personally, I am not overly fond of foam, or gel foam mattresses. They don't offer the firmness, and tend to break down over time. Look at the Plank Luxe Hybrid.
