Oh god help me is this bumble foot?

It really is down to you and your wonderful attitude...you have performed an amazing task...she will be so grateful for her new found healthy life with you...

I am so very happy for you both!

Congratulations...you are now a qualified surgeon!

Well done!

I appreciate the replies guys! I'm glad she seems like she's gonna be ok! Do u think she should be inside for the night or should I take Herr back out to her rooster she came with....probably need to check his feet come to think of it.

I personally would keep her inside in a warm environment for her first night...ensure she has eaten...has taken plenty of water and has pooped..she can go back to her mate tomorrow...she will probably be feeling much better in the morning after her surgery...

Suzie I think that's what I'll do I was just concerned about her absence causing a problem when I take her back out tomorrow. I have a small water and feed bowl in with her but she's not really interested she'd rather be peeking out of her makeshift crate.

A couple of days will make no difference with her being absent from the Roo...he'll be OK on his own...she needs some tlc after her ordeal...

You have performed amazing work with her...give yourself a pat on the back...and most of all...enjoy her..she will have a great bond with you now...they seem to know when they are helped by us...you are one very special person...well done!

Terrific job! You've probably helped dozens of other people with the same problem who have been dreading diving in and doing something about it. Great documentation photos! People really learn and appreciate having great photos like yours to show them what they're dealing with.

Your little Welsummer is wonderful patient. Have you named her yet? How about Twinkle Toes?

The beauty of vet wrap is she can go outside tomorrow and back to her routine with no danger to her feet. The wrap is wonderful in keeping dirt out and allowing the patient to get back to normal right away.

In a few weeks, when you're looking at her brand new, smooth, pink foot pads, you will really, REALLY be proud of yourself!
