If anyone knows of anyone that can explain to me what the sop is for the speckled. I have seen other Sussex sop but the speckled has been DIFFICULT to find. And honestly I'm not trying to cut dues. Its just I have the birds and would like to start attempting a good breed befor dropping money into a 50$ book and memberships and all the goodies. So if anyone sees this that may know or know someone.... :) I check byc just about everyday thank you in advance. And if your in the Va. area even better.

So cute! To early for me to tell anything about the sex of the chicks. Some have growth spurts and the others catch up. Boys usually are friendly, they love attention, but I've had pullets that were just as bold.

For SOP, you may also want to post your question on the "Exhibition, Genetics and Breeding to SOP" forum https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/exhibition-genetics-breeding-to-the-sop.16188/
The General Breed forums also has very good discussions https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/general-breed-discussions-faq.14/

Thank you very much for the guidance towards the correct forum. I hope that they are just friendly because if not then oh boy I'll have some roosters for sale soon lol no no that wouldn't be bad. That would actually be kinda nice to have one or two mixed in now that I'm really leaning to show quality speckled and it would be a good start I think. I know it's highly unlikely these birds will be show but they all have great traits. Thank you again

Thank you again. After digging through a few post I found a pretty detailed description. Well the best description I believe is aloud to be given lol. Anyway thank you again for your help.
