Wow, those are beautiful! I have never seen squirrels like that before. The ear tufts are very unique.

Yes they are! I keep watching to see if one will turn up around here, but not so far.

I visited the Bay Trail today, which has an abundance of waterfowl. Mallard ducks, American coots, white pelicans, Canada geese, double-crested cormorants, seagulls, snowy egrets, great egrets, great blue herons, and some others I have not yet identified. Also a surprising number of turkey vultures, and some crows.

I visited the Bay Trail today, which has an abundance of waterfowl. Mallard ducks, American coots, white pelicans, Canada geese, double-crested cormorants, seagulls, snowy egrets, great egrets, great blue herons, etc. Also a surprising number of turkey vultures, and some crows.

You certainly got to see lots of birds today!! I love going to area or preserves where the birdlife is abundant. So inspiring! Sounds like you had a lovely day!

I have Rusty (owned him all 17 years of his life. He's my best buddy man), Fiammetta (She's 3. Owned her for 1.5 years. Lives up to her name), and Dell (she's 20 something. Full of red head sass. Learned to ride on her! Rusty's mama. Long story but have owned her for about 2 years). Also have one dog and six cats but they will get their own post
