Please help!!!

@Spiderduck I will pray for him, I can see how much you love him. Its just a toss up I guess. I would definitely put him down if he appears to be suffering.

@RoosterCogburn7 I hear you on the pet insurance!! I have a Great Dane puppy and its a breed known for medical problems, unfortunately, I waited too long researching different insurance policies and in the meantime, he got a UTI, now the health insurance company wont pay for anything urinary related until he doesn't show any urinary symptoms for a year! Definitely, get that insurance asap! Don't wait. Post some pics of your new baby, Id love to see him!

@WVduckchick I'm so glad your pup is ok! I'm a true animal lover, I love all animals and hate hearing when they are hurting, Love to your pup.
I know. It will probably come to that.
It will kill me but for him i would.
Here is a picture of mt baby.. when he was well a few days ago

I know. Its so rubbish.. the con people out of their love for their pets for money.
It's a serious surgery, and surgery is expepensive. They aren't trying to con anyone out of their money. Did you ask the vet what they would do if it was their chick? That's what I do when faced with something like this.

I know bless.
It might come out. Its in his gizzard. It might push through.
If he were mine I would ask the vet what they would do if surgery wasn't an option. Speaking from personal experience, what you don't want to do is allow your chick to suffer. It's not eatin or drinking, and it's pooping yellow with blood. The yellow can mean he's dehydrated, but it can also be a sign of infection. The blood probably means that the pin has damaged something.

The pin is facinf upwards. But he is acting fine. Scaryjing himself. He wont sit maybe because of pain. Im giving him warm weetabix that might help dislodge the pin.
I know its painful but he is my baby i cant let him just go. What if he gets better soon?

There is not much blood in the poop. If i feed him and give him water hopefully the pin will pass..

Hey

Do you know if vets or any places x ray chickens or assist them

Is there a vet close by?

Hi

I need some help. I live in peterborough uk.
My chick i took to a vet. The vet took an xray. There is indeed a pin stuck in his stonach. Not the crop.
Surgery is needed. Its expensive. Its about £600. And its risky.

Question-could the pin pass through and he could poop it out?
What can i do!?!?!?

Aw, I am so sorry! :hugs Hm... Would you do surgery yourself? Probably far fetched of a question... But it could be a possibility.

Edited to add:
The purpose of posting this video is to show that it requires the skill of a veterinarian and should *never* be attempted by a non-veterinarian. I did not post it as a tutorial.

Ah ha, that might be a hard task for her though... Scary if you don't have the experience. Hm... I wonder what they can do.
I would be terrfied. I dont normally mind blood and my hands are really steady but operating on your own chick with just a youtube video.
I have no anethestic or equipment. Dont know who would unless you are a vet
