Recipe??? I would do almonds. They are becoming my favorite nut these days. Wish I could grow them
I use
1 Pound of pecan halves
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 t kosher salt
1.5 T cinnamon
1 egg white beaten to soft peak

Preheat oven to 300
Beat the egg white until soft peak and fold in the pecans.
Mix everything else together in a small bowl and then toss onto the pecans.

Spray a cookie/jelly roll sheet with sides with cooking spray.
Toss the pecans onto the pan and into the oven they go.
Bake one hour stirring well every 15 minutes.

Allow to cool well before putting in a ziploc bag or a jar.

I make these every year for Christmas presents and folks love them! The only change I've made to the recipe over the years is I use a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.

I use half cinnamon and half scandinavian spice, which is not something people normally have in their cupboards. LOL.
It's a mix of allspice, clove, ginger, more cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper.

Got it try it tomorrow thank you

I knew I'd forget if I didn't go dig it out for you.
2 Tablespoons of Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons of ground ginger
1 Tablespoon ground clove (I use a little less)
2 teaspoons of ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons of ground cardamom (I tend to use a little more)

Mix it all up and shove it into a spare spice bottle.
