I have lost my "good" rolling pin and pie crust sheet. I have been searching for it for about 3 months now. I probably put it somewhere "safe" that made sense at the time. It was a really nice KitchenAid rolling pin with offset handles - I really liked it. My wooden one is gone also, but that one may have been moved to the trailer when I got the nice one. For now I have been using the old marble rolling pin without a handle - kind of a pain to use as it is not any longer than my pie pans.

That drives me insane! I can't find my tuna/can strainer. I only ever use it for tuna - we eat it once a week a two, it gets washed & goes back into the same drawer. I, & then DH (because I blamed him ) tore the house apart & we still can't find it. Argh! Does this stuff just walk off?

RIGHT?!?!? It's the glass jar of the blender, the blades and the lid. I have the base! Where is the rest of it?!?!?
And I can't find the blades to the food processor either!
Do I have kitchen gnomes stealing stuff??

Bought one of those little smoothie blenders, It did a great job with the powdered eggs. I'll do the squash tomorrow after I run it through the dishwasher.

15 cushaws are finally done. 15 pounds cooked down - pureed- dehydrated and powdered gave me 4 cups of fine powder.

I mostly use it in cushaw pie, but also in quick breads and muffins, and shhhhh don't tell, but I hide it in the winter to soups and stew and meatloaf and pancakes.
