Raising and Growing Our Organic and Not- So-Organic Foods

Pics
I've only just started a few days ago but I'm already having fun

On a few of the grains it mentions antinutrient properties and needing to be cooked or heat treated or whatever first.. I wonder if sprouting gets rid of those antinutrient properties too? Or if it has to/can only be cooked
If the instructions say heated, then that means a heat treatment.

It usually doesnt cover sprouting info, as commerical producers dont sprout. Would take a bit of digging for that info. Hope you can find it!!

Apparently I have a food alergy that is making my life miserable--cant sleep well with congested nose.

This is the second day of eating chicken, mayo and tomatoes. Afraid to eat bottled dressings and cheese. I rather like being able to breathe again.

You're certain it's a food allergy and not just spring allergies or a cold? I've been a bit stuffed up lately too, I thinl because of the pollen or possibly getting sick.

I plan to reply to the rest later.

Although, will the chickens eat cooked sprouts?

This is a mature or nearly mature carmine jewel dwarf cherry. Via a general google search for images. Needed a better idea of the trunk and the structure of the 7 x 7 bush.

I just purchased a carmine jewel - which hasn't arrived yet - and a Romeo (both from Guerneys. The Romeo has arrived. The ones we got are supposed to be bush cherries rather than tree.

We were just out trying to decide between a couple places to put it.

@Faraday40 left hers as a bush though I imagine you could train it to a single trunk. Here's a photo of hers.

Dang photo not coming thru for me.

I went searching for pics because I did want to know if plant is a typical shrub with many shoots or a single stem. Based on one seller, there are few to no suckers for either Romeo or Carmine jewel. Cant remember which. Much depends on the characterisits of the roots.
