No, Tasmanian Tigers are strange. Looks like a dog. Has stripes. Has pouch. Related to either numbats or devils. Looks like a dog but given a cat' name.

Not individually... But everything there you just mentioned combined into one animal is just weird Don't get me wrong, I love platypuses (or whatever the heck the plural form is!?), but they are very strange.
