If I'm so foolish as to even appear @ the back door, everyone comes running. I don't always have treats.​

The beautiful Ceres.
The neighbours all have their favourites. The kids love the fizzles. The adults like the bantams ~ especially the Japs. They just seem to glide across the lawn like those Russian dancers looking glamourous & beautiful.​

It's rather wet & cold here this morning.
The girls have settled on the patio to watch the world go by...
except the mad broodies who are sitting on nothing in the shed. Once we are somewhere more permament I will get them some eggs again but it may be awhile.

I'm very lucky with this yard. It's nice & large enough to accommodate everyone & the chickens like it. They do spend a lot of time on the back porch. I'm wondering if they all feel a little insecure & that's why Olivia keeps bolting inside. She managed it again tonight & she is the chicken I keep finding in a crab pot.

Is the yard secure from four legged predators Ribh. It looks a great place for chickens.
