It's a Muscovy and I think they belong in the wood duck family.That is pretty cool! What kind of duck is that? I don't think up here we have any that nest in trees other than the wood duck.

Given that (from what I have gathered, at least) muscovy are closely related to Egyptian Geese as well, this sort of fits. The day old fluff balls can do impressive things, let's we are underestimating them
