Splayed leg

PLEASE HELP!!! I just brought home a wynodette baby with splay leg and I bandaged it with vet wrap. She won’t stop crying and she won’t stand all the way up… please please help!

We've had good luck with splay leg taping it to the other leg. But I've never had a chick happily accept the leg taping, they've always cried and fall over all the time. I don't know what else to say except to do the best you can!

Okay thank you! I syringe fed her some bc she hadn’t eaten or pooped and she pooped a little. Hoping she does okay!

Try standing the chick in a small wine glass or padded cup with the hobble on for short periods to build up strength in the legs. Here is how to make a hobble with a bandaid or vet wrap strips, and leave it on for 3-4 days:
