Good Afternoon! I welcomed 4 new members today, and I suddenly felt nostalgic because within the first couple months of being a member on BYC, I would welcome at least one new member everyday, so thank you @PioneerChicks for giving me that experience :)
Well, I have welcomed 1 member, I am hoping others join this evening, so that I can welcome them as well. I am thinking I would like to welcome 1 new member each day. I have tried to welcome newbies as I see them, but am not always on line for long periods of time each day. Hoping to be a better member.
I was also doing one member a day for a while, I should get back into habit!

Day #1, Dec. 14th: I'm late! But here to make up for it. I am thankful for these ten things:
1.) My husband most of all, who supports and loves me!
2.) My in-law family, they are so caring
3.) My health and well-being I often take for granted
4.) My animals, Wally the rescue included
5.) Knowing my grandfather-in-law as long as I did though he passed away this year. I'm glad I got to meet and know him!
6.) Our online sales (Etsy, Ebay, etc) that help support us passively and we're lucky they do well. It allows us to have fun and earn a little.
7.) Being able to build our own house again as we did the first time
8.) The ability to give everyone a good Christmas finally and surprise them
9.) Having my grandma's sweater - it's the last little thing I have of hers but I cherish it so much. Also glad I didn't lose my wedding dress.
10.) It's been nearly 3 years since accidental house fire, and I'm still grateful for Volunteer Fire Department leaving their homes on New Years to help us contain it though nothing could be saved. They helped us avoid the bigger issue of it spreading. They volunteered and were on call and helped us every way they could. They also were first on the scene when grandfather-in-law got in his wreck to make sure he was okay and helped block/re-direct traffic for it too.

Day #2, Dec. 15th: I'm going to welcome someone now in New Member Intro. and will post a welcome comment on their profile too!

Day 3,

It's barely above freezing and going to rain all day and I'll be at work. However, I brought the fence charger in overnight to charge the battery while they were safe in the coop so I have to set that back up as soon as it's light enough to see. Also, I am going to spend a little extra time this morning hiding some mealworms in the sheltered section of the pen to give them a reward for coming out and scratching around despite the weather.
