Got it, thanksTo tag, you type @ and then their name with no spaces between the @ and the name @Nksg75 and a drop down starts filling in, once you see the name you want, click it in the drop down and it will finish the tag.

Yes! Do it!I think your results are already going to be skewed if you are using shipped eggs. But, it's fun to try anyways! You've got nothing to loose!
By far the most conclusive and easiest/quickest results would be if you were using sex linked eggs. Perhaps I'll do so if I set up my breeding pens this spring.
@lazy gardener
Ok, so after the email, I am just going to throw the half formed chick #1 into the male side.
Papas poultry thinks that #3&5 look like males, however he did say that without them fluffed up, it was hard to tell for sure.
So it looks like all 3 were cockerels.
Since this was a tiny, tiny sample and I would by no means call this conclusive whatsoever.
So I thought # 5 was the only pullet. I was wrong. There were 3 cockerels out of the 3 eggs.
I just ordered 30 more eggs, to try this again!!
I will not give up!!
I would like a large enough sample to actually have a decent size expierement.
Yeah, no kidding!! That would be the day!!Hopefully these eggs will have a safe, uneventful journey to you.![]()
Me too! Or is it really an excuse to hatch more chicks??? Hmmm, how to explain an addiction to my husband!!Looking forward to your next experiment.
I LOVE experiments!
