Well hopefully when Lucky goes and Bella figures out he is gone you'll see his personality come back. Just make sure he isn't injured. Try giving him some special TLC if you have some dry dog food my Muscovy drake comes inside in the morning and has 1/4 cup of dry dog food he loves having this special attention. Just make sure he can swallow it okay.

Ya I think so. He is very small for a drake which I think why Lucky mates him.

We had a fire in our wood stove pipe some years back. That is as close as I ever want to come to a house fire. Volunteer firemen were fast getting here and got it out pretty quick and didn't have to ruin the inside of the house. My dh had done that already by using the fire extinguisher. Boy did we have a mess to clean up. But thankfully they didn't have to take the stove pipe apart.

Muscovy are relentless about having another drake Muscovy around. They feel it's their duty to run off or kill. I have never been able to keep more than one together. I've had 4 and had to section off so they could all have their own space and their own females. Never again. My Muscovy drake I have now for almost 9 yrs has no problem with my 2 Runner drakes at all. But he hates my Gander.
