Good Morning everyone!! Pouring rain here! Mild temps. Tomorrow we get socked again low 20's high 30. then teens for sat and Sunday. When do we get off this roller coaster?

What kind of bird is she? She's beautiful!! And I'm terrified of parrots or big caged birds.

My mother in law has one and it HATES me. To be fair, he hates just about everyone, but especially women, and for whatever reason, he hates me the most. They think it might be my hair, it's red. Chris thought it would be great to take the bird out one time while we were visiting his parents' house, and he walked around on the floor like a secret agent trying to bite everyone. He has evil in his eyes, I tell you. He's going to outlive my in laws and Chris says we'll probably end up with him. I said nope, you have three brothers, one of them can have him. No evil birds allowed here.

Four new peeps hatched overnight. Three chocolate cuckoo orpingtons and one double silver laced barnevelder from incubator #2, which technically isn't due until Friday. Lots of pips in that incubator, though, so I fully expect to see another half dozen chicks today. I was only able to put an ID band on the barnevelder so I can send in his eggshell to be DNA sexed, so hopefully the rest of these guys don't decide to hatch overnight and kill my chick DNA plans.

They can be something else, lol. Once, my sun conure that I had when I was in high school tricked me just so he could bite my boyfriend. He did NOT like him, but one day he was acting okay, as if he was finally warming up. So he climbed across me and up onto my boyfriend, got on his shoulder, acting friendly as could be. And then promptly pulled a Dracula and laid into my boyfriend's neck, lol.

I'm pretty glad she turned out to be female and kept it If she was male, she would have molted it all out and been solid grey. Aside from her face, which would have been more vibrantly white.

Wow Chris amazing I guess it’s one way to keep the weight off. My son isn’t over weight at all if I ate like him I’d be huge.

It took a while to acclimate when I started eating full meals again. I pretty much have a 3 bite window that is the difference between satisfied and bad stomach pains. My portions are a "healthy diet" size, but I can't over eat at all.

I know a lot of people have weight gain issues, so I'm not trying to be nah nah nah boo boo about it, but I have issues gaining weight. I've never broke 210# and it took me 3 years to get back to 190#. I was on a semi weight gaining the whole time. My Dr was happy when I hit 195 and wanted me to stay there, but I feel healthiest at 205. It took me another year to gain the 10# but I'm now at a comfortable weight of 205#. I've got a bit of stomach pudge but I feel I earned those lumps.
