Yesterday I dragged my brooder tank out and got it nice and clean for the littles

I've ordered an infrared heat lamp bulb to use this go round, hopefully it will help them SLEEP in the dark, and not party like rockstars all night long. Have yall used one before? Happy with it?

I'm not ready to go all in on the heat plate because I'm not sure how much use it would get, and I'm assuming ducklings would need the biggest size.

I have always used the red infrared heat bulb and if you want an awesome lamp check into Premier 1.

I've seen the heat plates in use, and they are awesome. One of the ladies I go through uses them for anything from Serama to peafowl. I'd very much like to get 1 or 2 of them.

Most likely the second week of April. Sometimes I'll risk it and start the last week of March. It all just depends on the forecast.

I forgot to mention, @DiYMama540 that I use an infrared lamp, and its a Premier1 that Patti is recommending. I've not had any issues with it. I run it I'm my livingroom.

The light bulb they carry too is much better than the reg heat bulbs too.

I have a Premier heat plate and Honestly I prefer the Premier heat lamp better. Maybe it's because my duckling seemed to prefer the heat lamp. I did order a 150 wt instead of using the 250.
