Love both your guys Chris. I love frizzles anyway. I miss my little Ebby!
The Silkie boy might actually not be here that long. They got in to a fight this morning, and the Silkie started it. (Frizz had his back turned) I had feeders in my hand and had to unlock/open their cage, so it too a few seconds to break them up. Chaos happens fast too.

Both have blood in their feathers around their face, but I can't see where they actually hurt one another. Just some comb/waddle peck wounds. The Silkie cut his foot though so there is blood everywhere. After inspecting them I think it looks much worse than it is.

Not that fighting is funny, and I do take it seriously...but... I'm going to take a moment to reflect on Sir Fizz's flying ninja ear lobe suplex. He jumped and snagged thre Silkies ear lobe mid air, but just locked on. The Silkie tried jumping a couple of times but was grounded by the side of his face. Fizz was not letting go. He held him pinned till I got them apart. He wasn't pulling it, didn't even break skin, but he did have a pitbull grip on him.

Needless to say they are separated now.

The birds got a special snack this morning. We had a couple bananas that where getting old, so I just pressed them in to some feed.

Oh, boo! I thought they were buddies in their old home? Poor Frizz. He's a pretty boy, I can't wait to see what you end up doing with his genetics.

I don't think I've ever had a frizzled chicken. I have one silkie that could kinda-sorta pass for frizzled, but it's hard to tell. But out of the two serama chicks that I kept, the teeny black/brown chick is definitely a frizzled (gal?) At least I hope she's a she... seramas are pretty easy to tell early on, we're going on week 4 and no redness in either of their combs yet so I'm thinking both are girls. She's teasing me with her feathering. It kind of looks like she could have some gold lacing, which I'm really stoked about. Definitely excited to see how she turns out.
