I've already thrown away over $500 and have zero ducks to show for
Woah, that really stinks!

If you want to just see how your hatch goes and let me know I'm okay with that. With the way things are going, I don't think I'll be slowing down just yet. I'm considering just keeping the KC until I can get some Runners of a different color. If so, I'd still be willing to share them with you.

I might have found a home for Pearl! Poor girl just walks around here screaming looking for the Silkies who are not here anymore. It's pretty annoying, but we all also feel bad for her. She never made friends (nor enemies) with the other birds. I found someone looking for a single hen to add to an existing guinea flock. :)

Aww poor Pearl!! Glad you found a home for her. :love

They're so dang cute!

Ugh, I'm so conflicted. I REALLY wanted a couple of Welsh Harlequins. It's obvious that the box with those eggs is lost within the USPS black hole vortex. That or Ralphie intercepted the package as a part of his Anti-Duck agenda. I can file a claim with USPS for the broken egg box and the missing box, but I'd have to at least pay for shipping again for both boxes to get more eggs, and I've already thrown away over $500 and have zero ducks to show for it, so... I think it'll cut my losses since I don't really have the budget to throw money away.

Maybe it's a sign that I need to start with like two or three ducks? I still have 7 runner duck eggs that might make it to the end of the month... we'll see.
I think I have some WH I got from a neighbor but they might be half Saxony
