My pain levels are through the roof right now. Some days it's just a minor inconvenience, and then days like today I need help just to get out of bed.

Besides that, it's been a great day so far.

Got my coffee! Got my birds!
Even got my human hatchling! All good reasons to smile.

I've been giving the tiny chickens some supervised free range time every morning for the last week. Watching them actually be able to act like chickens sure does put a smile on my face too.

I've got osteoarthritis in 3 vertebrae, regular arthritis in a couple of joints as well.

There's just to many beautiful things in life to experience to be sitting here wallowing. The way I look at it is I can't make the pain go away so I ought to find ways to counteract it. It doesn't always work, but it is worth the fighting chance.

Though, I will say I'll be happy when Jonah is finished teething. That doesn't put a smile on either of our faces.

So it didn't take long at all for the AC's and ducks to become friendly. I'm not going to lie, I've been extremely paranoid about letting the ACs out. I am happy to report though, it's gone very smooth.

By the way, I know it looks like a jungle back there. It's just the angle of the picture. I was trying to sneak up on them, because if I don't, the quack attacks come running straight to me. (including the ACs! )
